WILKINSTOWN 5K

Wilkinstown 5km run takes place on Sunday, May 26th, 2024 at 12.30pm (registration opens at 8am )this event is in aid of Nobber Cancer Support and Wilkinstown Community Centre Organised by Yvonne Curtis ( Nobber Cancer Support Group Was Set Up To Help Family And Friends Of The Community And Neighbouring Parishes With Transport To And From Cancer Treatment, this is close to Yvonne’s heart, as in December 2022 Yvonne was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and Nobber Cancer Support were there to help! And Wilkinstown Community Centre is also close to Yvonne’s heart as her local centre and a voluntary ran organisation in the heart of Wilkinstown, her children also attend various activities in the centre) with the vision that this will become a yearly event for all to attend.

For those avid runners your registration will include a chipped timing service. For those who would love to join but at your own pace your more than welcome , we would be delighted to have you in attendance.

Homeology  has generously come on board as our main sponsor for this event, along with other generous businesses whom have given sponsorship and prizes to make this date a huge success. All details to follow

There are t-shirts for the first 200 adults registered and We also have finishing medals for everyone who registered and makes it over the line!

After race refreshments will be available back at Wilkinstown Community Centre when you cross the finishing line!
