Walk the Line 2025

Walk into the night with DWMRT.

There is a choice of two marked routes: a 22 km loop and a shorter 12 km loop. Both loops start and finish at The Glencullen Adventure Park.  We offer the option of being guided along the route by Rescue Team members (PRO Guided adventure ticket) or self-navigation (unguided/solo adventure ticket) for the more adventurous among you. Either way, you will have the opportunity to see the city laid out below you at night from the unique vantage point of the Dublin Mountains. 

About us

The Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team was set up to help people in need of assistance in the hills and mountains, and we cater for a broad range of recreational users of the Dublin and Wicklow mountains. For a number of years we have successfully run both night and day time hikes over the mountains, to fundraise for our life-saving activities. 

2025 will see us realising a long-awaited dream of building our own base to operate all our rescues, training and team meetings from. Our fundraising events normally go directly to our operational costs but this year, they are even more vital as we embark on this ambitious project. We are very grateful for your support as always, and hope you enjoy your hike through the Dublin Mountains for a great cause.
