Event Description:

The Department for Infrastructure recently launched two consultations i) proposed proposed content of the new road safety strategy for Northern Ireland 2030; and ii) to consider making careless driving a fixed penalty notice offence which also includes the introduction of Operation SNAP, a platform that will enable you to upload video footage of careless driving, for example, close passes.

3 workshops to choose from:

  • Wednesday 5 January | 13.00 to 14.00 (closes 4th Jan at 19:00)
  • Thursday 6 January | 20.00 to 21.00 (closes  5th Jan at 19:00)
  • Saturday 8 January | 10.00 to 11.00 (closes 6th Jan at 19:00)

Cycling Ulster are keen to engage with our members to respond collectively to both consultations and make sure our cycling voices are heard.  We are hosting three online workshops and would like to invite you to come along to one to tell us what you think. The workshops will take place via Zoom and a link will be sent prior to the event.

You can respond individually as well as attend a workshop.
