Sports First Aid (CPR/AED)

This workshop is ideal for all Sports coaches wishing to be able to deal with minor sports injuries, parents, players.

The workshop lasts for 6 hours and commences at 9:30am.

Oram Community Centre on Saturday 21st  November 2026

This course covers a comprehensive range of topics to prepare participants to administer First Aid care on the sports field.

Participants will learn practical skills so that they can deal competently with situations that may arise. This course has an emphasis on dealing with minor Sports Injuries.

Course content:

 Scene Management & Primary Survey

 CPR, AED skills, Choking

 Heart Attack, Stroke

 Bleeding and Wounds

 Treatment for Shock

 Recognition and treatment of Concussion

 Heart Conditions

 Fractures

 Sprains & Strains

 Unconsciousness & the Recovery Position

On Successful Completion Course, participants are issued with a First Aid Certificate of attendance from Pro Training.

This course is heavily subsidise by Monaghan Sports Partnership and participant fee is €20 per person.
