WOW - Off Road- Omagh Wheelers 2023

Cycling Ireland's Gearing Up is a progressive mountain bike skills programme designed for beginners.  It covers the fundamental skills required for cycling in an off-road environment.

This course is led by Omagh Wheelers Off Road coach Gillian Craig;

'I'm really passionate about giving other women and girls the opportunity to have a go at learning mountain biking.  I started 4 years ago at Gortin Glens. I love helping others on their mountin bike journey.'

Four sessions starting on 27th May at 10am to 12.30pm at Gortin Glens Mountain Bike Trails.

Required- a desire to learn, dont worry about fitness! Bikes are available to hire at a subsidised cost, please contact Gillian

Adults will be given priority but parents of interested girls aged 11-16 years should contact Gillian.

Please note a Cycling Ireland Leisure Membership valid until 31st Dec 2023 is included in the registration fee of £37 (plus £2.22 Eventmaster fee).  If you are currently a CI member and would like to take part please contact Gillian (Programme fee of £7 will apply).
