Charity Cycle in aid of Marymount Hospice and Killavullen N.S. in conjunction with Blackwater Cycling Club takes place on Sunday, April 28th 2019

Join us for a charity cycle that's bursting with community spirit - cycling 20km, 50km or 100km in support of Marymount Hospice and Killavullen National School, in conjunction with the Blackwater Cycling Club.

Monies raised will assist funding of Marymount Hospice and a Sensory Room for Killavullen National School.

Registration online or on the day of the event from 8:00am at Killavullen Community Centre.

Online Earlybird Registration €20 for first 100 entries, and €25 thereafter (plus service charge).

The charity cycle comprises of three routes: 20km, 50km and 100km, taking the cyclists through the beautiful surroundings of Killavullen village, the scenic Blackwater Valley and North Cork countryside.

20km Fun Cycle: Our 20km cycle around the Killavullen countryside is a perfect family ride.

Killavullen – Skanakilla –Castletownroche – Bridgetown - Killavullen

50km Moderate: Or if you are looking for something a little tougher take on our 50km route.

Killavullen – Doneraile – Two Pot House – Mallow – Burnfort – Bottlehill –  Beenaskehy –  Killavullen

100km Challenging:  And for the seasoned cyclist who wants to take on a challenge, there is the 100km route!

Killavullen – Doneraile – Two Pot House – Mallow – Burnfort – Bottlehill – Whitechurch – Carrignavar – Watergrasshill –  Rathcormac – Fermoy – Killavullen via N72

  • All routes are circular, starting and finishing in Killavullen.
  • Food stops enroute, kindly sponsored by the Killavullen N.S. parents, community and local businesses.
  • Support will be on hand from motorbike marshals, road marshals, ambulance service, and van support.
  • Car parking and changing facilities are available in the Killavullen GAA grounds.
  • All routes fully marshalled, swept and washed.
