A family friendly cyclocross event set in the beautiful grounds of Belvedere House & Gardens.
A family-friendly cyclocross event set in the beautiful grounds of Belvedere House & Gardens. The parkland circuit is similar to last year, which is rolling & quick, with a tricky forest section. It is designed to ride fast and stays relatively dry in the wettest of conditions. Hot waffles and good coffee, available all day in the event village. Belvedere house will be open to the public with walks, a café and playgrounds.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
09:00 Sign-On Opens.
09:00 – 09:50 Open Course practice (50 mins).
09:50 Call up U10 & U12s Boys & Girls.
09:55 – 10:10 U10 & U12s Race (15 mins max)
U10/12 Race on Shortened Course. Both age groups, Boys and Girls all will start together. The rest of the course is available for practice.
10:10 – 10:30 Open course practice (20 mins).
10:30 Call up U16 & U14 Boys.
10:35 – 11:05 U16 & U14 Boys Race (30 mins max)
U16 and U14 grids will be physically distanced by a few meters. Both grids will start at the same whistle.
This start procedure will be known as “Physical Distance, One Whistle“.
11:05 – 11:30 Open Course practice (25 mins).
11:30 Call up Women, U16 Girls, U14 Girls.
11:35 – 12:20 Women’s Race (Close to 45 mins)
11:35 – 12:05 U16 & U14 Girls Race (30 mins max)
Women, U16 and U14 grids will be physically distanced by a few meters. All three grids will start at the same whistle, the “Physical Distance, One Whistle” start procedure.
12:30 Underage Fun Races (U6, U8 and U10) on separate course
U6: 2 minutes.
U8: 5 minutes, or 10 minutes max.
12:20 – 13:10 Open Course practice (35 mins).
13:10 Call up A-Race.
13:15 – 14:05 A-Race (Close to 50 mins)
14:05 – 14:25 Open Course practice (20 mins)
14:25 Call up B-Race.
14:30 – 15:15 B-Race (Close to 45 mins)
