Active Disability Ireland - Autism in Sport Workshop - 21st May

This 2.5 hour online course, partly-funded through the Leisure, Health & Fitness Skillnet and available to Ireland Active members and/or individuals registered with REPs Ireland, will provide participants with an understanding of Autism, focusing on the delivery of sport. The course content is designed to help participants recognise and understand key areas of consideration and to look at practical strategies, which will help to include people with Autism in sport.

Course Certification

On completion of the course, participants will obtain Active Disability Ireland Certificate of Attendance which is endorsed by Sport Ireland.

Sports leaders, coaches, volunteers, teachers, principals, special needs assistants (SNAs), parents or anyone who has an interest in making their sport accessible and inclusive for people with Autism.

Cost of the Course:

€20 for Ireland Active and REPs Ireland Members through the Leisure Health & Fitness Skillnet (normally €50 per person).
