Kilcornan National School Abseil Challenge

Take part in an unique opportunity to abseil 45m/125ft from the heights of the home of Munster rugby, Thomond Park, to raise vital funds for the Kilcornan National School new building fund.

The event will take place at the iconic Limerick venue on Saturday April 20^th 2024, 1pm. Participants will be treated to panoramic views over the Treaty City before beginning their dare devil descent from the West Stand media box!!

Participants in the Abseil Challenge will be asked to pay a registration fee of €50 (plus fees) to cover the costs of doing the abseil. We are then encouraging each participant to aim to raise a minimum of €200 which will go towards the building fund. Those who take part in the Challenge must be aged 15 or over on the day.

Fully Qualified and Safety assured, all the abseiling safety equipment such as ropes, helmets and harnesses are included, and participants can descend at a pace that suits.
