Shandrum AC 5k Road Race

Shandrum AC is delighted to welcome you to the 5th running of its 5k Road Race on New Year’s Day, Saturday 1^st January 2022 at 11:00 in Newtownshandrum.

Important Information

• Ample parking at Race HQ (Newtownshandrum GAA Complex) and also at church car park which is near start line.
• Online registration only.
• Your Race number will be available for collection on the morning of the event at Newtownshandrum GAA Hall. Please allow plenty of time to collect same.
• Your Race number and pins will be in an envelope with your name and number marked on it. The envelopes will be at designated areas. Stewards will be available to direct you.
• Race timing by Premier Timing Systems https://www.premiertimingsystems.ie/
• Race starts near the church car park and finishes at the GAA complex.
• AI registered event.
• The course was measured by John Holland, Athletics Ireland National Grade Measurer.
• Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female + category prizes. Course Record Prize. Wheelchair Prize.
• Entry fee €15 (includes booking fee).
• Please adhere to HSE Covid 19 guidelines.
