Tuam Stars Hyrox - September 19th 2026

Tuam Stars Hyrox is BACK, and it's bigger, better and more fun than ever.

Mark your calendar: Saturday, September 19th , 9am–3pm at the Tuam Stars Clubhouse. One day, one club, one brilliant cause — every cent raised goes to support Tuam Stars Football and Camogie Club. 

HYROX combines both running & functional workout stations, where participants run 1km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times. 

However, you can swap any 1km run for a 2km bike. No matter your fitness level, age or whether running's your thing — there's a way for you to take part and have a great day out.

The fundraiser is hosted outdoors in the Tuam Stars GAA grounds around the perimeter of the pitches and the Astro Turf for the workout stations where your spectators can support you from the very beginning to the very end.

It will be timed and judged and will begin in a wave format with the Singles men wave beginning at 9am. There is also a doubles event, a mixed doubles event and a new relay option.

Relay Teams consist of 4 members. They can be all-male, all-female, or mixed (2 male and 2 female). Each team member will complete two legs of the race, with each leg consisting of a 1 km run / 2Km Bike followed by one workout station.
