Fun Hoops Basketball4All Camp, Maynooth, July 2024
Inclusive basketball camp for children aged 10-16 years (born 2014 to 2008) with additional needs. Dates are 15-19 July.
Basketball4All is an inclusive programme for children with additional needs. It teaches the skills of basketball in a fun and player-centred environment.
The camp venue is the Halla Spóirt, Gaelcholaiste Maigh Nuad, Moyglare Road, Maynooth, W23 HC66 (former MPP school).
The camp is from 1 to 3.15pm over five days. It caters for children aged 10 to 16 years with additional needs. There is an average ratio of 1 coach per 2 children. Places are limited.
The fee is €60 per child (plus admin fee), with a discount of €5 for 2nd child or more. Children will receive a free camp t-shirt.
The camp director is Ronan Hobbs, a schools and national league coach. He will have a team of experienced coaches, all with Basketball Ireland qualifications and Garda vetting.
The camp is hosted in conjunction with North Kildare Eagles Basketball Club.
