Limerick Riverfest Marathon Kayak Race

Race Start 17.00 (one hour before high tide)

City Centre Course

Lower Shannon  10K 

Start and Finnish at O’Callaghan’s Strand slipway (beside St Michael Rowing Club) 

 

10K Race  Two lap race, up the Shannon river and back into town by the Abbey River under Shannon Bridge and start a second lap. 

The finish is at O’Callaghan’s Strand  Slipway. 

 

The Parent and Child race 2.5 K

Start at O’Callaghan’s Strand up river to the mouth of the Abbey river and back down the Shannon to O’Callaghan’s Strand finish.
