Fun on two wheels. An Easter skills day at Ormeau in Belfast.
Cycling Ulster in conjunction with Bangor City Bike Club are bringing you a day of cycling skills at the Ozone/Ormeau, Belfast on Wednesday 8th April 2026.
Meeting spot- Ozone main building.
Ages 5-8 years old: 10am -11.30am
Learning the basic cycling skills of pedalling, cornering, balancing and braking using fun games and obstacle courses.
Sessions will be on a mix of grass and tarmac in a traffic free environment.
Balance bikes or pedal bikes are welcome but must be in good working order. Helmets mandatory.
Please note these are not learn to cycle classes.
Ages 8-12: 12pm -1.30 pm
Working on and developing and building confidence pedalling, cornering, balancing and braking.
BMX Coach, Brandon will introduce riders to skills needed on the BMX track for anyone that would like to progress.
The session will also continue on the grassy area with Coach Maia.
Bikes must be in good working order. Helmets are mandatory. You do not need to have a BMX for this session.

Non- Cycling Ireland members will be required to either purchase a one-off Event license at £5 or take out a full years Youth membership at time of purchase for £10.
Cycling Ireland membership will offer access to all the camps through-out 2026. Your child becoming a member gives us the ability to offer more subsidised fun camps like this.
Please note: If your child was a registered CI Member previously, please renew the membership prior to attempting to book the camp
NEW Membership can be added at the check-out phase of booking the camp
Please book one person at a time if adding membership - the system will show an error if attempting with more than one person.
