West Clare Challenge 2023 (10am)

On the 9th of September, join us at our starting point at 10am in Kilrush, Co. Clare for the West Clare Challenge Charity Cycle! Suitable for all levels: riders have the choice to cycle a 90km or 130km route along the Loop Head peninsula, raising money for four local charities. Our 90km route is e-bike friendly.

Riders will cycle the Atlantic coastline to the most westerly point of County Clare, where views of seabirds, seals and dolphins meets breathtaking views as far as Dingle and Connemara. Riders will also pass Loop Head Lighthouse, an iconic Clare landmark. A rewarding challenge, not to be missed!
This is a fully sanctioned Cycling Ireland Event with two routes to choose from 90km and 130km. The starting point of both routes is L&L Cycles Place de Plouzane, Kilrush, V15 F407 at 8.30am.

Enjoy the comradery and energetic environment as you join hundreds of biking enthusiasts riding along the Wild Atlantic Way.
