Volleyball Teacher Training Workshop

Volleyball Ireland and Cork Sports Partnership have teamed up to roll out a Cork Primary & Secondary School Volleyball training Programme. 

The aim of the programme is to introduce primary school children and secondary school pupils to the exciting sport of volleyball in a fun and inclusive environment.

In return for full commitment to the programme. each school will recieve:

• Teacher training workshop on Thurs 25th Sept in Fr Mathew's Basketball Arens

• Training & Equipment Pack & online teacher coaching pack (one pack per school)

The Teachers Coaching Course will provide participants with the knowledge to:

• Introduce players to the basic skills of volleyball in a fun and exciting way
• Have the creativity and confidence to deliver volleyball sessions to students
• Make the skills activities easier or harder for different ability levels
• For schools, identify where volleyball can be introduced to the school curriculum
