Event Description:

Monaghan Sports Partnership is delighted to announce that we will be running two 5-week long Inclusive Cycling Programmes for children with disabilities.

The two venues for the Inclusive Cycling Programme are Castleblayney and Clones.

Inclusive Cycling in Castleyblayney will start on Wednesday 17th May and every Wednesday until 14th June @ 4pm – 5pm each week and will take place at Gaelscoil Lorgan, Baile na Lorgan, Castleblayney, A75 Y278.

Inclusive Cycling in Clones will start on Friday 19th May and every Friday until 16th June @ 4pm - 5pm each week and will take place in St.Tiarnachs National School, Roslea Road, Clones, Co. Monaghan.

These programmes will be delivered by Bike Green who have extensive knowledge and experience of delivering cycling programmes to children.

This programme will prove invaluable for the children taking part, providing a great source of physical exercise while teaching the children correct techniques and improving their cycling confidence and capabilites.

Children will learn lots of fun cycling skills and drills across the week. Bicycles and helmets will be provided, but if children have their own bikes they are encouraged to bring them.

Parents must remain onsite with children for the duration of each session. Limited places are available on this programme and pre-registration is essential. The cost of this programme is €20 per child and is heavily subsidised by Monaghan Sports Partnership.
