Cycling Ulster Youth CX Summer Series 2026

The series aims to:

• Introduce more young riders to cyclocross during the warmer months.
• Provide shorter, more accessible events for those who may not have experienced CX before.
• Create enjoyable opportunities for young people to make friends and socialise through cycling.
• Encourage the development of fundamental bike handling and cycling skills.
• Provide a pathway into autumn and winter cyclocross competition.
• Offer a safe off-road environment where young people can develop confidence on their bikes.

Cyclocross is one of the best disciplines for developing all-round cycling ability. Through a combination of bike handling, balance, cornering and decision-making skills, young riders gain confidence that benefits them across all areas of cycling.

11 Rounds will take place around the Province.

12th August- Round 7 hosted by Carrickmacross CC.Patrician High School. Rockdaniel Rd, Cloghvally Upper, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.

20th August- Round 8 hosted by Phoenix CC.

25th August- Round 9 hosted by Omagh Wheelers. Ecclesville Centre and Park, 11 Ecclesville Rd, Fintona, Omagh BT78 2EF

1st September- Round 10 hosted by Bangor City Bike Club, Castle Park

8th September- Round 11 hosted by Island Wheelers
