62nd Liffey Descent
Liffey Descent 6th May 2023
The race course consists of 10 weirs and one portage around Leixlip dam. The start point if the famous K club in Straffan Kildare and finishes over 30km away in Chapelizod at the Garda boat club.
A vaild membership is required for entry if you are not a member a day licence can be purchased and the end of this booking process.
All paddlers must be of the correct skills level to take part in this race.
It's advised that you are at the level 3 standard or signed off by a qualified instructor.
A moring bus will the Garda boat club at 9.45 am on Saturday morning.
Bib and tracker collection will take place at the Garda Boat club for 5pm-8pm on Friday the 5th.
The race Starts in the K club at 12 midday
Minimum age for junior section is 16 years.
