Workshop 24th January at 7pm on Zoom
Orlagh Deegan, Canoeing Ireland Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Project Officer will lead a panel of experienced club volunteers who have successfully set up and grown junior sections in their clubs.
Learn from their experiences, get top advice and ask questions. This will be a great session for those looking to start new clubs or get advice on growing/rebooting an existing junior sections.
For 90 minutes they will cover a broad range of topics:
- Getting started
- Canoeing Ireland Registration
- Constitutions
- Codes of Conduct
- Club Structures
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Safeguarding - what do you need,
- resourcing, attracting and managing volunteers
- Growing membership
- Communications
- Club Development
