Join Aware on Monday 19th October from 7-9pm, for a conversation on resilience in mental health at the Ardilaun Hotel in Galway
On Monday 19th October join Aware for this talk from 7.30pm at The Ardilaun in Galway on Resilience in Mental Health - a conversation with mental health advocated Jonathan Kemp, and to learn more about locally accessible Aware Mental Health Supports from Galway based Aware Volunteer Jean O'Leary.
Jonathan Kemp has spent the last 10-months from January to October 2026 completing a ‘Finding Peace of Mind' Walking Challenge across Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland sparking open conversations about mental health along the way and pmraising money for Aware, alongside three other mental health charities SAMH (Scotland), Mind (England & Wales), and Aware NI (Northern Ireland).
Hear Jonathan speak about his mental health journey, and learn insights from his walking challenge following it's completion in Galway.
Also learn from the Aware team about their free supports, therapy and educational programmes accessible online and in-person for adults affected by depression, bipolar and anxiety. We will have Galway based Aware volunteer Jean O'Leary speaking of from her experience about leading the local Aware Support and Self-Care Group.
