Curragh to Curragh Charity Cycle 2026

Starting time: 10am at the Curragh racecourse (lots of parking provided)

Distance:95km

This year we are going a new route to visit where Pat Smullen was from which will add hugely to an already brilliant day. 

Route: Curragh racecourse - Kildangan - Clonbullogue - Brickfield Stud (stop) - Rhode (main stop) - Clonbullogue - Monasterevin - Kildangan - Kildangan Stud (stop) - Curragh racecourse (final stop).

The Curragh To Curragh charity cycle in aid of Cancer Trials Ireland is taking place on Sat Aug 29th this year.

Previously the event was the Coast To Curragh.

Also, when we arrive back at the Curragh Racecouse we are going to try and break a WOLRD RECORD for the most people in a yellow cycling jersey in a single venue.

The current world record is 270 people so wear a yellow cycling jersey on the day if you can. 

The total is 95km but people can join in along the way. You can cycle 15km, 45km or 95km. Check our website (below) to see the expected departure times from each venue. 

A second group will depart the Curragh Rcaecourse at 9am (they expect to average 20km per hour). 

The group leaving at 10am expect to average about 25km / 26km per hour. 

Pick the group that will ensure you enjoy the day to its fullest. We will all finish together. 

It is a fun day out. Cyclists will receive tickets for themselves and 2 friends to attend the races at the Curragh that day.

We hope everyone that is taking part will raise some much needed funds for a wonderful cause.
