About WASH Project with World Vision

Every child deserves clean water.
We can help end the global water crisis within our lifetime.

The project's main objective is to enhance the learning environment by providing inclusive and gender-appropriate sanitation facilities, as well as promoting positive hygiene and sanitation behaviors within primary schools across our Uganda area programmes.

World Vision’s WASH project will achieve this through the construction of gender-segregated latrines to include handwashing facilities within primary schools.

School hygiene and sanitation facilities are critical to keeping students healthy. Without proper handwashing stations and latrines, kids miss class due to illness or menstruation, and schools struggle to retain qualified teachers.

Give today to help children enjoy good health and stay in school — so they can keep moving forward on the path out of poverty!
