Sanctuary Runners fundraising for Sanctuary Runners

Help Us Get Mohamed Moving! For the past year, Mohamed has been a dedicated member of the Poppintree Sanctuary Runners, showing up every Saturday morning — rain, wind or shine. His determination, positivity and commitment inspire everyone around him. But getting around the park each week in a standard wheelchair takes a huge physical toll, and we want to help make participation more accessible for him. We are fundraising to raise €1,000 to purchase a Lightweight Sports Wheelchair for Mohamed — giving him greater comfort, freedom and the chance to continue being part of the community he loves. This Saturday, 16th May, Helen and Ciara from Poppintree along with members of their families will climb the Sugarloaf Mountain in Wicklow at sunrise and your sponsorship would be greatly appreciated. Every donation, no matter how small, will help us reach our goal and support an incredible member of our Poppintree family. Let’s come together and help Mohamed keep rolling with the Sanctuary Runners!

About Sanctuary Runners

Sanctuary Runners brings people together in friendship and solidarity to run, jog and walk together, including all members of the community – asylum seekers, refugees, migrants and all Irish residents. We have more than 40 groups across Ireland and are continuing to grow. Our groups help communities to get to know each other, build friendships, support community integration and improve physical and mental health. Find out more – link to https://sanctuaryrunners.ie/
