As many of you know my brother Christopher contributed to so many lives through his mentorship and coaching in sport, particularly in running. The 5k in honour of my brothers memory is an opportunity to remember and raise funds for Pieta who do such amazing work and personally have been a huge support over the past 12 months.
About Pieta
Pieta' vision is a world where suicide, self-harm and stigma have been replaced by hope, self-care and acceptance.
By supporting us you will allow us to strive to make this a reality. Without your support we would not have been able to give hope to over 60,000 people since we first opened our doors in 2006.
In 2020 Pieta delivered over 52,000 hours of intervention and bereavement counselling. We managed over 70,000 crisis support calls.
All of our services are provided free of charge. This is only possible because of you.
About Athletics Ireland Fundraising Campaign
Athletics Ireland is the National Governing Body for Athletics in Ireland.
Our primary objective is to promote and develop the sport at every level from recreational running and schools competitions through to supporting Ireland's elite athletes in international competition.
