Stephen Heavey fundraising for Our Ladys Hospice Harold's Cross Blackrock and Wicklow
I’m running the Dublin City Half Marathon 2026 to raise funds for Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross, who took such incredible care of my dad in his final days. The kindness, compassion, and support they showed to him and our family meant more than words can express. It made a very difficult time that little bit easier, and it’s something I’ll always be grateful for. This is my way of giving something back and helping them continue the amazing work they do for other families going through the same experience. Any support, big or small, is hugely appreciated. About Our Ladys Hospice Harold's Cross Blackrock and Wicklow
Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services (OLH&CS) provides specialist care for a catchment of over a million people with a wide range of needs, from residential rehabilitation to end-of- life care, from our bases in Harold’s Cross, Blackrock (est. 2003) and Wicklow (est. 2020).
Specialist palliative care is delivered in each of our three locations, making us the largest provider in Ireland. As well as in and out-patient services, we have community palliative care teams who had over 6,700 patient interactions (including visits to patients’ homes) across South Dublin and Wicklow
