Sarah Grehan fundraising for World Vision Ireland

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. My name is Sarah, and I'm planning to participate in a duathlon in May 2026 to raise money for my sponsored child, Tony, and his community in the Solomon Islands through World Vision Ireland. Tony is a bright, positive young boy with a lovely smile, a love for football, and has many dreams. While I am able to send presents and letters, my primary wish is for him to be safe, healthy, and educated. I would be very grateful if you are in a position to offer your support. I chose World Vision Ireland because I am confident that the funds will be sent directly to Tony's community Tony and his family are facing acute challenges including climate vulnerability, economic fragility, and widespread child poverty. Rising sea levels, extreme weather events, alarming rates of violence, malnutrition, and limited access to education and healthcare. Here's how your contribution can make a difference: If I raise €15 ,it will get an empowerment classes for a girl in his community, giving her a safe space to learn her rights and speak up on important stuff like child marriage. €43 buys an education bundle with 10 books for an after-school club and a mini library for a school. €88 will feed a family for two months with healthy ingredients for basic meals. €185 gets a terrific toilet to stop the spread of disease and gives 15 people privacy and dignity. €400 buys an activity pack for 100 children, with pencils, a writing book, puzzles, and games. €889 repair a borehole, so Tony and his community don't have to walk miles for water. Thank you so much! Sarah
