Stephen Fitzgerald fundraising for Children in Hospital Ireland in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2024
Hi all, thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Your support is really appreciated. I am hoping to complete the Dublin City Marathon in October and in the process I am trying to raise money for the Children in hospital charity. This charity works at trying to make a child's experience in hospital (which as we all know can be a daunting time, especially for children) a little bit easier. I know the marathon itself isn't for a while yet but any money donated goes to the charity straight away and can be used to make an instant impact on the lives of many children experiencing a difficult time. About Children in Hospital Ireland
Children in Hospital Ireland supports children and their families in healthcare settings throughout Ireland through play, advocacy, and education. Since 1970, our mission has been to promote the wellbeing of children within the healthcare system. We work to provide information and support to parents and carers, and advocate on behalf of children and their families. In addition, we aim to make the hospital a happier place for children and young people by providing volunteer-led play and recreation services.
The work of Children in Hospital Ireland is firmly rooted in and inspired by the lived experience of children in hospital and their families, and the knowledge and insights of our volunteers and supporters.
