I will be attempting to complete the Dublin Half Marathon on 30th March on behalf of all those who have been diagnosed with this cancer over the years. BCI is doing fantastic work in the research of the causes, cures and treatment options available. My lovely friend and colleague Sheila McGowan has recently been through a very scary diagnosis, but thankfully has come through her treatment and is doing really well. I am also doing this in memory of another wonderful colleague Caroline Cannon, who passed away 6 years ago, but who is always in our thoughts.
