Rachel Lavery fundraising for Irish Heart Foundation

On 25th July 2026, we climbed Croagh Patrick. It was a tough climb, with the weather against us but we knew Dad was with us every step of the way. A very special thank you also goes to Bridie and Mary from Limerick, whom we met on our way down the mountain. It was the ladies 15th time climbing Croagh Patrick. They are two wonderful women and we were delighted to help them safely down the mountain. Meeting them was a truly special part of the day and is something we will never forget. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us throughout this fundraiser. Your kindness, generosity and encouragement have meant so much to us and we truly appreciate every donation. To bring the fundraiser to a close, we will be holding our final fundraising night on Saturday 8th August 2026, in Mc Meels High House, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan starting at 8:30 pm. There will be a raffle on the night and a representative from the Irish Heart Foundation will be there to accept a cheque for the final amount raised.
