Roisin Kelly fundraising for Milford Care Centre
I’m running the Dublin Marathon 2026 in aid of Milford Care Centre, in memory of my amazing mam, Mary. Mam was the strongest and most resilient person I have ever known and I hope to carry just a fraction of her stength as I take on the marathon. In Mam’s final days, the nurses from Milford Care Centre gave her the dignity, comfort and care to come home and be surrounded by her family. We will always be grateful for the compassion they showed her and all of us. Any donation, big or small, would mean so much and help support the incredible work of Milford Care Centre. Thank you ❤️
About Milford Care Centre
Milford Hospice is a provider of Specialist Palliative Care for people with a wide range of needs from rehabilitation to end of life care. This high quality, person-centred care is provided both on-site in our special facilities as well as in the local community. There are just over 350 staff and over 100 volunteers who deliver this excellent service for patients and their families at a most difficult time in their lives. In order to maintain services at levels capable of responding to the ever growing needs and operating to the highest standards of care, there continues to be a significant reliance on fundraising events which are vital to make up the shortfall necessary to sustain the provision of this quality of care on offer at Milford Hospice.
