Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I will be running in memory of my one of a kind mother, Caroline Curran. Deeply missed by everyone who was lucky to know her, my friends and I decided to do this run this year as support and to raise for the amazing staff at Milford. The care they gave mam and myself, dad and our entire family during such a tough time was outstanding. Doing this for mam and to bring a bit more good karma into the world 💕 Your support is really appreciated. Please feel free to share this page if you can and share the cause in memory of mam. About Milford Care Centre
Milford Hospice is a provider of Specialist Palliative Care for people with a wide range of needs from rehabilitation to end of life care. This high quality, person-centred care is provided both on-site in our special facilities as well as in the local community. There are just over 350 staff and over 100 volunteers who deliver this excellent service for patients and their families at a most difficult time in their lives.
In order to maintain services at levels capable of responding to the ever growing needs and operating to the highest standards of care, there continues to be a significant reliance on fundraising events which are vital to make up the shortfall necessary to sustain the provision of this quality of care on offer at Milford Hospice.
About Milford Care Centre 10K Fundraising Campaign 2026
For 2026, the event will be operating both in a physical and virtual capacity, giving runners and walkers the option to take part in the event starting on the grounds of the University of Limerick or within their own locality and indeed around the world in the virtual event - the choice is yours!
Sunday, February 22nd is going to be a memorable day. It will be a 10km that we can enjoy safely, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Start Line or Virtually as we run/walk together again.
