13KM Run Every Day for 30Days fundraising for Milford Care Centre

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I recently lost a very very valuable family member in my aunt Margaret who after a short illness passed away at Milford Care Centre . She really was a special person to anyone that knew her but also a really great aunt to me . The thoughts of Mags ending in Milford were heartbreaking for us all but the care she received as soon as she arrived was on another level to anything I’ve ever seen before . Every single member of staff in there treated Mags and everyone else with the greatest respect . As a small gesture of appreciation I am aiming to run 13km every day for the next 30days all for this great cause . 100% of the total I can raise from this challenge will go directly to Milford Care Centre and the donation will be made first and foremost on behalf of Mags , my family and also from anyone who has shared or donated to this great cause . Milford Hospice is a provider of Specialist Palliative Care for people with a wide range of needs from rehabilitation to end of life care. This high quality, person-centred care is provided both on-site in our special facilities as well as in the local community. There are just over 350 staff and over 100 volunteers who deliver this excellent service for patients and their families at a most difficult time in their lives. In order to maintain services at levels capable of responding to the ever growing needs and operating to the highest standards of care, there continues to be a significant reliance on fundraising events which are vital to make up the shortfall necessary to sustain the provision of this quality of care on offer at Milford Hospice.
