Peter O Malley fundraising for Cancer Care West in Wild Atlantic Ultra 2025
On May 24th, 2025, I’ll be running the 80km Wild Atlantic Ultra to raise funds for Cancer Care West. This incredible charity provides essential support services for people with cancer and their families, ensuring they receive the care they need during one of life’s toughest battles. Every step of this ultra will be dedicated to those fighting cancer, those we’ve lost, and those who continue to support them. About Cancer Care West
Cancer Care West is the west of Ireland cancer charity dedicated to supporting those whose lives have been affected by a cancer diagnosis. Our aim is to enhance patient care and well being and to provide supports to cancer patients and their families during and after their treatment.
We aim to provide a holistic service that complements medical treatment through the provision of residential accommodation and cancer support services. Cancer Care West also provides cancer awareness and educational programmes and undertakes research on patient care.
About Wild Atlantic Ultra 2025 Fundraising Campaign
Race summary: Take in the beautiful scenery of Co Mayo Ireland, during this 50-miler for the Wild Atlantic Ultra. The run takes you around stunning imagery such as Croagh Patrick, Sheefrey Pass, Tawynard Forest, Doolough Valley, Clew Bay and Atlantic Coast. The Wild Atlantic Ultra, "It’s more than a Ultra – it’s a scenic adventure where people make friends and bond while often achieving a lifelong goal!"
