On Saturday 7th November I will be taking part in the Dickie Dip 2026. For anyone unfamiliar (as I was until my friend Alex signed me up) the Dickie Dip is essentially what it sounds like...a dip...in the far from tropical Irish Sea...in November..wearing just a dickie bow and a smile. No guarantee on the smile. Despite how it may seem, this isnt just what I do for fun in my spare time. The Dickie Dip aims to raise vital funds for mens cancer treatment. 1 in 6 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime. You or someone close to you will almost certainly know someone who has been affected. Personally, my dad is now 2 years into his journey with prostate cancer. I had no idea how prevalent it was until my Dad got his diagnosis.
