This year, five teams from across our offices are taking part in the Belfast City Marathon Relay, united as one team, one cause, all working to raise at least £5,000 for Northern Ireland Chest, Heart & Stroke. We are especially proud to run in honour of our chairman, Feargal Logan, who suffered a stroke in February 2024. With no warning, Feargal became unwell. He experienced issues with his balance and vision, and despite not showing the classic FAST (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) symptoms, he sustained a serious stroke. Thankfully, Feargal has made a strong recovery and serves as a powerful reminder that none of us are invincible. During his recovery, Feargal benefited from the incredible support of Northern Ireland Chest, Heart & Stroke. Their dedication, care, and vital aftercare during this vulnerable period showed him just how remarkable this charitable organisation is. They support so many people with professionalism, compassion, and tireless commitment. For our teams, the Belfast City Marathon Relay is about more than just running. It’s an opportunity to step away from the office, come together, share a few laughs and challenge our team for a cause that truly matters. It’s also a reminder to BE FAST: the stroke warning signs of Balance, Eyes, Face, Arms, Speech, Time…and in our case, it gives our runners a spring in their step. Are you ready to BE FAST, Belfast?!
