Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. On the 3rd of May, I will be running the Regeneron Limerick Half-Marathon in hopes of raising money for COPD Ireland. For those unsure, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a progressive and incurable lung disease causing severe breathing issues and difficulties. It’s an umbrella term used to include bronchitis, emphysema or a combination of both illnesses. COPD Support Ireland strives to provide help and information for people living with COPD and support and guidance to family or friends who have a loved one suffering with the disease As well as running for COPD Support Ireland, I’ll also be running in May in memory of my Granda Larry. Granda suffered for many years with Emphysema but always managed to be positive about it till the end.
