I am hoping to raise as much money for One in Four that I can when I run Dublin marathon on October 27th, my first marathon. One in Four is an Irish charity offering assistance to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. In 2021 I reached out to One in Four about my own experience of childhood sexual abuse. I was struggling to cope with what had happened to me and at this point had reached my rock bottom. I was very nervous about making the call but the One in Four staff treated me so wonderfully from the start. That very same day a therapist called me back and I got into group therapy which changed my life. The people that I met there still inspire me every single day.
