Niamh Kiely - In Memory of Caroline Kiely fundraising for Solas Cancer Support Centre in Solas Run & Walk for Life 2024
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Your support is really appreciated. Our Mam Caroline passed in July 2024 after a short year battle against Pancreatic cancer. The solas centre have provided both Caroline and her family so much support and we would love to raise money by doing this walk again this year. If you can help me to promote this page, I would greatly appreciate it. You can share my page on any social media using the social sharing sections. Thanks again!
About Solas Cancer Support Centre
The Solas Cancer Support Centre provides free support services to people affected by cancer, their families and carers in Waterford and surrounding areas.
About Solas Run and Walk for Life 2024
History The charity was started in 1999 by a team of health care professionals in University Hospital Waterford who recognised the need for and benefits of non-medical supports for those affected by cancer. The services quickly outgrew its original rented facility. Following a massive community effort that started in 2008 the necessary funds were raised and a new purpose-built centre opened in 2011. Our Mission To support people affected by cancer, their families, and carers in Waterford and the South East.
