Mungret St. Pauls GAA Club fundraising for Milford Care Centre
Okay guys, it is time to shave and prepare for Movember, a month dedicated to brave and selfless men to grow a moustache, and women to step up and support them, all to raise awareness and funds for men's health - specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. This fundraising page is for those of you who would like to show your support. The donations will be going to Milford Care Centre in memory of a gentleman, Joe Harrington who sadly is no longer with us. We are asking our men to take part in growing a Mo for Joe for the month of November.
About Milford Care Centre
Milford Hospice is a provider of Specialist Palliative Care for people with a wide range of needs from rehabilitation to end of life care. This high quality, person-centred care is provided both on-site in our special facilities as well as in the local community. There are just over 350 staff and over 100 volunteers who deliver this excellent service for patients and their families at a most difficult time in their lives.
In order to maintain services at levels capable of responding to the ever growing needs and operating to the highest standards of care, there continues to be a significant reliance on fundraising events which are vital to make up the shortfall necessary to sustain the provision of this quality of care on offer at Milford Hospice.
