Mercedes Garvey fundraising for Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team in Walk the Line 2025

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Your support is really appreciated. Having called on DWMRT in an emergency I’ve been fundraising for them ever since by doing their night hike which is one of their biggest fundraisers for the year. If you can help me to promote this page, I would greatly appreciate it. You can share my page on any social media using the social sharing sections. Thanks again!

About Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team

Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team (DWMRT) is a volunteer rescue service, available 24 hours per day, every day, to respond to emergencies in upland areas of Dublin, Wicklow, and Louth. DWMRT's mission is to provide a professional-standard, voluntary emergency rescue service. The team comprises 60 highly-trained, motivated, volunteer mountain rescuers, coming from all walks of life, and united by a common love of the outdoors. DWMRT works to provide an emergency search and rescue response in upland and remote parts of our operational area. DWMRT is part-funded by the Irish government, but the team's operational costs far exceed the government funding we receive. The rest of our operational costs are met by donations, grants, and fundraising events. The team is always grateful for any financial support we receive, without that support we couldn't do what we do.

About Walk the Line 2025 Fundraising Campaign

Walk the Line 2025 is a fundraiser for Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team taking place on Saturday 22nd March from Glencullen Adventure Park. The Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team was set up to help people in need of assistance in the hills and mountains, and we cater for a broad range of recreational users of the Dublin and Wicklow mountains. For a number of years we have successfully run both night and day time hikes over the mountains, to fundraise for our life-saving activities.
