Mighty Matt's Mini Dip fundraising for The Mater Hospital Foundation with Mighty Matts Mini Dip
Mighty Matt’s Mini Dip 💙 This November will be the first Dickie Dip without our Dad, Matt, who sadly passed away on April 24th after a brave battle with prostate cancer. Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer at just 45. Every year he took part in the Dickie Dip with his band of brothers, braving the Irish Sea in nothing but his famous orange bow tie, raising money for the Mater Hospital Foundation and, most importantly, encouraging men to get checked. This year, we — Matthew (17), James (15) and Charlie (13) — will take his place and lead our family and friends into the Irish Sea to continue Dad’s legacy and remember the amazing man he was. Dad always said: “If only one person gets tested after seeing this, that’s one life potentially saved.” So please help us keep his message alive. Donate if you can, share our page and, most importantly, encourage the men in your life to get checked. We miss you every day, Dad, and we’re so proud of you. In memory of our Dad, son, brother, uncle and friend, Matt Davis. Sail On ❤️
