Running the Berlin Marathon represents much more than achieving a personal goal. After completing my fourth Comrades Marathon and earning my fourth medal, I want to challenge myself on one of the world's fastest and most iconic marathon courses. What motivates me most is using my passion for running to create a positive impact in the lives of others. Knowing that every kilometre I run can help raise funds and awareness for children who need support gives my training and race day a much deeper purpose. Berlin is an opportunity to test my limits, inspire others to pursue their goals, and prove that perseverance can make a real difference—both on the road and in the community. I chose Kenya Children Centres because their mission resonates with me. Every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in a safe, supportive environment with access to education, healthcare, and hope for a brighter future. I admire the organisation's commitment to providing long-term care and opportunities that help children break the cycle of poverty. As a runner, I believe endurance and determination can be used for more than personal achievement. By representing Kenya Children Centres at the Berlin Marathon, I have the opportunity to turn every kilometre into meaningful support for vulnerable children. It is an honour to combine my passion for running with a cause that creates lasting, positive change in young lives, and I hope to inspire others to contribute and make a difference alongside me.
