Fundraising Page of Kate Healy
Hello there! Thank you for taking the time to support our fantastic fundraiser. My name is Kate, I’m a Physiotherapist with St. Gabriel’s Foundation and on the 29th of November I will begin my challenge of 24 Hours in a Row to fundraise towards a fantastic piece of equipment that will be used by children to walk and stand independently - The Innowalk. I am so grateful for all of those who are supporting this unique challenge and I hope to do my very best for all involved.
If you can help me to promote this page I would greatly appreciate it. You can share my page on any social media using the social sharing sections. Thank you again and don’t forget to come say hello in the Crescent Shopping Centre on Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th where we will have plenty of music, guests and of course rowing!

About The Cause
St. Gabriel's provide a range of specialist services and therapy interventions for 1600 children with disabilities in the Midwest. 64 children with profound physical disabilities attend a special school onsite. St. Gabriel's also provide hydrotherapy and orthotic services to children with disabilities and to people in the wider community.
A recent addition to our services is a beautiful purpose-designed Children's Respite House at Mungret. The house caters for overnight respite needs of children with significant physical disabilities and associated complex medical needs. These are very vulnerable children who have multiple diagnosis, cerebral palsy, developmental disorder and profound learning disability. Some of the children also have life-limiting conditions.
Fundraising plays a major part in providing much needed funds to help support our work and improve the quality of life for children with disabilities. Thank you to all our donors for their generosity.
About The Campaign
This exciting
24-hour rowathon will take place at the Crescent Shopping Centre on November
29th.
Kate Healy, a physiotherapist and experienced rower, is attempting to break an Irish, European and World Record by being the first Irish female rower (20-29) to row consecutively for 24 hours. Go Kate!
Kate and 24 rowing buddies will be rowing their arms off in order to make a real difference.
This fundraiser will be raising funds for an Innowalk, a piece of equipment that significantly improves the quality of life for children with physical disabilities to experience dynamic movement and engagement in physical activity.
You can help in 2 ways:
1. Donate to this page and help Kate reach her target of €60,000
2. Sign up to be one of Kate's rowing buddies for 1 of the 24 hours. You don't have to be an experienced rower, you just have to get going and get rowing for one hour of your day.
