We are raising money and awareness for Microtia UK, a charity who support families like mine. My little boy Henry was born on the 3rd July 2023, Henry’s left ear was visibly different but the only thing we were told at this point was that Henrys ear hadn’t developed. Over the next few weeks numerous appointments and lots of support from Microtia UK our son was diagnosed with grade 3 left sided Microtia & Atresia. which means Henry conductive deafness on his left side and we now face into lots of unknowns and a different road ahead for him than we imagined. Before Henry was born we’d never heard of microtia or the challenges that came along with it but we know with the support from Microtia UK we will get through it together. We are running the Dublin marathon to raise awareness and funds for this amazing charity that has supported us from the start. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
