About ASCERT
ASCERT work across Northern Ireland supporting young people, families & adults with issues around alcohol, substances and mental health. We provide services covering prevention, intervention, training & recovery.
Our prevention services offer support to schools, colleges, universities, youth groups, community groups & businesses.
Our intervention services provide therapeutic supports to help reduce the potential harm caused by alcohol, substances and/or mental health helping bring about positive change.
We are the regional provider of workforce training on alcohol & drugs. Free training is available to those working in the charity, public or local government/council sectors. We also provide consultancy services to support Human Resources with corporate policies around alcohol/drugs and offer bespoke tailor made training solutions to community groups, schools, and businesses.
We facilitate two SMART Recovery Groups in Omagh and Lisburn and a Recovery Choir in Belfast.
