As some of you may be aware sadly last year I lost my dad to a long battle with cancer. With his one year anniversary coming up shortly I have decided I will be doing a 10K run on the 22nd of March in honour of my dad for Irish cancer society, this charity done a lot for my dad before he passed and for us after he was gone. Any donation no matter how small makes such a big impact something as small as the price of a coffee could help in such a big way. We all know someone who’s gone through this in one way or another and your donation could help make that journey easier. Thanks again!

About Irish Cancer Society

Cancer is the most common cause of death in Ireland with more than 9,000 people dying each year. That's almost 25 people dying from cancer every day across Ireland. An average of 1 person every hour. However, thanks to earlier detection, improved care and targeted treatments, more people are surviving cancer than ever before. Today, there are 200,000 cancer survivors in Ireland. The Irish Cancer Society are working towards a future where nobody dies from cancer, and everyone affected by the disease will have access to world class treatment and support. Typically receiving only 5% of income from the Government, your support helps provide key services to ensure no one has to face cancer alone and funds vital cancer research with over €30 million invested since 2010.
