Julia Katovsky fundraising for KCC

Running the Berlin Marathon on 27 September 2026 is more than a personal challenge for me—it is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference. I am running for Kenya Children Centers - a charity that has been rescuing and educating disadvantaged children in Kenya for over 25 years. What started in 2000 with four abandoned babies in a rented room grew to an organisation supporting 2,500 children. I am passionate about sport and believe in the power of dedication, stamina, and pushing beyond our limits. Training for a marathon requires commitment over many months, and I am excited to take on that challenge. However, I want this journey to be about more than just crossing a finish line. I also strongly believe that we have a responsibility to support those who face challenges far greater than our own. Every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in safety, receive an education, access healthcare, and have the chance to build a brighter future. Unfortunately, millions of children around the world still lack access to these basic opportunities. That is why I am running in support of Kenya Children Centers. The funds raised will help provide education, daily meals, shelter, healthcare, and hope to vulnerable children and young mothers in Kenya. Here's what your donation does: → £10 covers a week of school meals for a child who would otherwise go hungry → £35 funds one month of secondary school for a girl in Kenya → £100 contributes to a full term of education for a girl on the Women Leaders Programme — girls who go on to mentor others, creating a ripple effect across their communities. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your donation. Your support will not only help me reach the start line in Berlin, but more importantly, it will help change lives. Together, we can make every mile matter. Important: The currency can be switched to Euro
