John Donnelly fundraising for Cycle Against Suicide in N2- End to End Portugal Challenge 2026
🚴♂️ I’m taking on my toughest challenge yet — N2: End to End Portugal Challenge 2026, and it’s for a cause that really matters ❤️ This May, I’ll be taking on the biggest physical and mental challenge of my life — cycling the entire N2 route across Portugal, from Chaves in the north to Faro in the south. That’s 738km in 6 days, through mountains, valleys, and endless open road. Route Details: - Day 1- Monday, May 25th - Chaves to Lamego; 100km/1817m - Day 2-Tuesday, May 26th – Lamego to Aguieira; 126km/2044m - Day 3-Wednesday, May 27th – Aguieira to Pedrogao; 96km/2105m - Day 4-Thursday, May 28th – Padrogao to Montargal; 130km/1679m - Day 5-Friday, May 29th – Montargal to Vila Gale, Alentejo; 163km/1070m - Day 6- Saturday, May 30th – Vila Gale Alentejo to Faro; 147km/1537m. I’m doing this to raise funds for Cycle Against Suicide, a charity that works tirelessly to break the stigma around mental health and support suicide prevention across Ireland. My goal is to raise €2,300, and every euro makes a real difference. If you can, I’d be incredibly grateful for your support — whether through a donation or simply by sharing my page. This will be a true test of endurance, but knowing it’s helping others makes every kilometre worthwhile. Thanks so much it really means a lot. 🚴🏼 💨 JD
