In Memory of Michael Considine fundraising for Milford Care Centre

On the 18th of October 2023, our father Michael Considine (also known as Greasecan) sadly passed away in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his beloved family. In light of this, the Considine family, together with the Kilfenora Gun Club are fundraising in memory of our beloved father and friend. Michael was a dedicated member of the Kilfenora Gun Club for over 40 years. In memory of our father Michael, the Kilfenora Gun Club have organised a clay pigeon shoot fundraiser on Sunday 24th March 2024. This will take place at 12pm on the Kilfenora shooting grounds. All proceeds will go to Milford Hospice as they provided great support to Dad throughout his illness at home. The palliative care staff were exceptional and we can't thank them enough for their support. This fundraiser is a small gesture of good will to say a big thank you for everything they have done. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause. Many thanks for your support, The Considine Family x

About Milford Care Centre

Milford Hospice is a provider of Specialist Palliative Care for people with a wide range of needs from rehabilitation to end of life care. This high quality, person-centred care is provided both on-site in our special facilities as well as in the local community. There are just over 350 staff and over 100 volunteers who deliver this excellent service for patients and their families at a most difficult time in their lives. In order to maintain services at levels capable of responding to the ever growing needs and operating to the highest standards of care, there continues to be a significant reliance on fundraising events which are vital to make up the shortfall necessary to sustain the provision of this quality of care on offer at Milford Hospice.
